Now that the members of the Class of 2023 are back from their first-year trips, they're embarking on a different sort of adventure—a foray into the cosmos, led by Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy Jedidah Isler. In this year's Shared Academic Experience lecture, Isler urged the new students to make their own discoveries.
"Welcome your new self," she said. "College is an opportunity to make a new start, and you don't get that opportunity many times in life.
